Norfield Children's Center child provides many flexible after school programs for children ages 3-13 years.  We open at 7:30 AM and close at 6 PM.  You choose from a wide variety of scheduling options, and once registered, drop-in hours are available.  Days of operation follow the Weston Public School calender, except that we are available during all delayed openings; scheduled or weather-related. During your child's hours at Norfield, time is spent on many varied activities.  In addition to indoor and outdoor free play and directed activities such as story time and study hour, we also integrate special themes throughout the year for children of all ages.  Each topic and the activities involved are appropriately geared to the age and developmental stage of your child.   Preschool children can join us for Lunch Bunch, bringing their lunch boxes to school and extending their day until 2 PM and in one-hour increments from then until 6 PM.  Three Year Olds may enter this exciting arena by staying until 1:30 PM.  Weston Elementary and Intermediate students ride the bus from school right to our door, where our teachers greet them warmly.  Since Norfield is located so conveniently, it is the first stop on the bus, and the fun begins! Norfield child care is staffed by experienced, trained teachers with a low student/teacher ratio.  The teachers and director are committed to providing a warm, home-like environment for your child.  We understand that transition between school, the center and home is important, so we do our best to make it as smooth as possible for your child.
