Health & Wellness

Maintaining the health and safety of our school environment is very important to us. Norfield Children's Center is following the guidance and safety protocols from the CDC, the State of Connecticut, as well as local government authorities.

Children and staff are required to wash hands upon entering the building, as well as throughout the day.

Cleaning Procedures

Staff are required to disinfect throughout the day including, tables, chairs and toys.

The Center is disinfected nightly by a professional third party cleaning crew.

Norfield Children's Center is a peanut-free facility.

All of our staff are required to wear facial coverings over their nose and mouth, in addition to gloves.

Caregivers are required to inform the teacher on the general health of your child each day, including but not limited to sleep, activity levels and overall wellness.

Parents are provided a copy of Norfield's Health Guidelines & Procedures.

Temperature Checks

Prior to entering the building, each child and staff member's temperature will be taken and recorded. Temperatures must be below 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
